This is a general overview of how we’ll work. Every project is different and has custom requirements. I provide a project-specific overview over our call. I understand you may have time-based requirements and I’ll be happy to cater to those. We’ll map out a plan for your needs.
- We schedule a 30-minute call or you fill out a Project Scope Form.
- I will send an email that includes the scope, pricing, and timeline for the project.
- I work with 100% advance payments for $1000 projects. $1000 upward projects involve a 50% upfront charge and 50% when the work is sent. This differs for every project. For ongoing retainer work, we mutually decide the dates for payment. I understand companies have different policies and I am flexible with those.
- We’ll get into a contract once the proposal is accepted. If you’re from the US, I’ll send a W8-BEN form for tax purposes as I’m based in India.
- Once you make the upfront payment, we move to the business understanding stage. I will send you a Business Overview Form to understand the brand, voice, and target audience.
- I work with detailed briefs for articles and similar pieces which usually include an outline, keywords, intent, audience, and the like. In case an outline is not possible, I’m happy to create one as well. I will send it out and once approved, start working on the content. I’m flexible with platforms for communication. I usually work with Google Docs for deliverables.
- My pricing includes 2 edits based on your feedback.
- With my final email on a particular project, I’ll send the final invoice for 50% of the remaining price.
I’m happy to provide direction to the web designer as I’ll be wireframing your copy. If you need an additional canva design to showcase the website design, I’ll just add an extra item to the invoice.
